LATEST NEWS

It is never the wrong time to make changes for the better, to refocus and reset your sites. Why not take a minute to jot down 4 things you can to do improve your health this month. Maybe take one walk and enjoy fresh air, maybe take one bike ride, maybe make one healthy food choice, and maybe schedule one massage.

What you do matters, especially when it comes to your own health.

Every seven years your body completely regenerates. All your cells, tissue, habits, and even external features change. You are what you eat and you become what you live today. Because what you do matters!

Now, the hard part is holding yourself accountable to see if you accomplished your goal! Why not let someone else in on your venture if you choose to take this challenge?

Here is my list of four one-time activities for the month of April. (I decided to think of one thing for each of these four categories, but you can do it however you want.)
1. Mental: Sit outside in the sunshine and read
2. Physical: Attend pilates class
3. Emotional: Get a craniosacral therapy treatment
4. Spiritual: Sing hymns in the bathtub

And now all 700 of you please hold me accountable. I’ll let you know how I did next month. I’d love to hear from you too! Love and health, Monica

Sleep

The “Sleep in America” Poll (2002) showed that 58% of adults in the U.S. experienced symptoms of insomnia a few nights a week. Sleep is the ultimate rejuvenator and regenerator. Deep rest and sleep is one of the main states that allows the body to do its self-healing and to keep us looking younger.

With good rest and sleep the immune system stays intact and the youthful glow remain in the eyes and face. Insomnia, can keep us from maximizing our abilities to do most anything. Stress, depression, decreased melatonin, medications, and medical conditions are all very valid reasons for sleep to be disrupted. But valid or not we need our sleep!

GENTLE REMINDERS: Legs and Toes

Bowed legs can indicate lacking minerals. Thick yellow toenails can indicate of poor circulation (common among those with a passion for sugar…creates inflammation, irritates blood vessel linings, reduces blood flow, yadda yadda yadda). Did you know that if the hairs on your toes do not grow, that is also a sign of poor circulation?
